Does alcohol affect resin?
Fill a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol and spritz the surface of the resin. The alcohol breaks the surface tension causing the bubbles to pop. The alcohol will evaporate quickly without affecting the resin.
What does rubbing alcohol do for resin?

How do you remove hardened resin?
Use enough acetone to soak into the surface a bit. Be careful not to damage the wood/concrete as you use your knife or scraping tool to gently and slowly scrape off the epoxy resin. There is no need to worry about any wet areas left by the acetone as it will evaporate on its own.
Can I use 99 isopropyl alcohol on resin?
Even wiping up a drop of resin with it leaves the tacky surface. I’m now using 99% and find it works great, no issues.
How do you stop air bubbles in epoxy?
A small amount of baby powder can work to reduce bubbles in resin. If you are using colored resin, you can even choose a powder that matches the color of the resin you are using. Use a delicate paintbrush to dust in the powder, then tap out any extra before pouring.
Can you use 70% alcohol resin?
The benefit of using 70:30 alcohol to water ratio is that it’s gentle on skin and floors around the house. The negative of using that ratio for 3D printing is that it doesn’t clean the resin well enough. I do not recommend using 70% IPA in 3D printing. So that leaves 91% and 99% IPA.
Can you spray on resin?
Although it is possible to spray WEST SYSTEM® Epoxy, we strongly recommend against it. Leaving aside the practical difficulties, including equipment expense, the health and safety issues associated with spraying epoxy are enormous. To effectively spray epoxy and obtain a desirable finish, it must be atomized.
